Friendly staff and great lunch food at reasonable prices. Try pasta, chicken sandwiches and the fruit bowls for dessert.
We had lunch here, which was good. We had melon with parmaham € 8, and a greek salad € 7, (4,50 would be enough . Half a liter white beer €6, (are you out of your mind? . I don't like to pay for your couvert but that is a fact in Italy. No electronic payment, cadh only.
Elegant historic center bar. furniture of the time and atmosphere of the first of the xix century. typical dishes and aperitifs. recommended.
A historical place we liked right away. the atmosphere is beautiful, decorated with a special charm that immediately attracts the gast. in the heart of the beautiful large square in mirano piazza di mirano was founded the restaurant by giuseppe cavallari and gilda casarin in the late nineteenth century, after the association of italy. an interesting story also highlights its attractiveness. koffein re d’Italia was always an important social, political and cultural reference point, which has actually many noble, owners of the great Venetian villas miranese, the privileged access to the bar. at least she received a privileged title and was included in the prestigious list that includes the oldest quality bar in italy. from the arched terrace there is a beautiful view of the square, and the right place to enjoy a large aperitif for example a sprayperol. when it comes to eating, it is a special story. we were delighted with the local specialties, prepared before us on the terrace of the bar, the porchetta sandwich panino porchetta e salsa pepata e lampredotto sandwich. we had lucky that there was a goose on the menu this day. So we drove with a big risotto with a goose wut, or a big pasta with the same wut. the highlight was a phenomenal bratgans with a seasonal supplement of caramelized radicchio by treviso (radicchio rosso di treviso) and roasted kartoffels. to dessert we had a big strudel with cheese. all this was accompanied by the excellent chardonnay wein from veneto. Finally, everyone praises chef. the personal is very friendly and sweet. the prices are reasonable. we enjoyed everything at every moment.
