Hong Kong Boys Wonton & BBQ House

This is the best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever had in Mission. The special fried rice is everything, not too salty, just perfectly done. Not only the food is great, the sauces are amazing. Everybody should try their home made plum sauce, which is incredibly delicious. Not talking about Sunday Dim Sum that is every Sunday, it’s just beyond delicious!!

1st time ordering from here. We ordered takeout dinner for 4 tonight. The food was made to order, very fresh, hot. Staff was friendly both on tge phone and in person. My family enjoyed it, even my still picky youngest. There was more then enough food for all with some leftovers. We will be back. Need to try Dim Sum on a Sunday. Thank you Hong Kong Boys

Food is always great. They only do Dim Sum on Sundays now which limits how often we can go.

I stood in line to get into this restaurant as I'd heard that they served Dim Sum on the weekend. My husband and I have been going to Butterfly Restaurant in Port Coquitlam for more than 5 years for their fabulous Dim Sum, so not having to travel was really a draw as well. We ordered steamed shrimp dumplings, pork dumplings, deep fried shrimp in batter, white rice and pork ribs. It arrived piping hot and it was all very tasty. Perhaps there were too many there for lunch as we waited a long while for our order to start arriving. Yes, I would recommend it if you love Dim Sum and you live in Mission. For my husband and I, we are 10 min. from Mission, and 20 from Port Coquitlam. What's another 10 minutes for the best Dim Sum short of Richmond.

Having moved back to Mission after a long absence, we were looking forward to revisiting the Hong Kong Boys, a place that held good memories from the past. Alas, our recent experience was extremely disillusioning. The restaurant interior seemed not to have had much upkeep in the decade that we had been away. Our server seemed disinterested and was merely going through the motions.When the food arrived, it did not taste like authentic oriental cooking but rather like cuisine that had been tweaked to appeal to what the owners though a western clientele would want. They say that "you can't go back" .and we haven't.
