U & I Thai Restaurant -  Mission,

The food here is so incredible. The red Thai curry and pineapple rice are my favourites! If you don't like heat just tell them and they'll adjust it to your liking. You MUST try this place and believe me you won't be disappointed. I could go on and on but you have to go try it to believe the flavour of their dishes. Pad Thai is also awesome!

Was really looking forward to pad Thai. Ordered it a 3/5 heat as I enjoy it spicy. It was barely a 1/5. Give us what we ask for. Gotta try the mango salad. It is very good

My wife and I both had Pad Thai with chicken, and it was delicious. We added a side of prawns to share. They were not delicious. They were off and fishy, in a way that only prawns/shrimp can be.We put them aside, and noted our displeasure to the server. No problem, prawns taken off the bill, the rest of the food was excellent. We were happy enough.But then the server, while clearing the table, notes that the kitchen said the prawns were fresh, and asked if if we knew what prawns should taste like!!!I am 58 years old, I've been eating prawns for over 40 years of them. I LOVE prawns, shrimp, raw fish...seafood in general.Why would we order something we like, put it aside and not eat it, unless it tasted bad?

I had heard about this place, even driven by it countless times. However for some reason it never registered as a place to stop and grab a bite for lunch or dinner! The other night, I was invited to try this fantastic place, just before catching a movie. And I was not disappointed whatsoever! I had no expectations, and it turned out to be full of flavour! Pleasant colour and great presentation. We started with an appetizer to share, we chose the spring rolls! They were amazing! I've had a lot of spring rolls from a lot of places. U and I Thai, is definitely in the top 3! The spring rolls were very hot fresh out of the kitchen and jam-packed with vegetable goodness in a perfectly crispy bite size roll. And a delicious plum sauce for dipping.After the appetizer I had ordered the Duck Stir Fry, but they happened to be out of Duck at the time, so instead I tried the Pork Stir Fry, with sticky white rice. It was out of this world! A healthy size portion, that left you in a food coma! and feeling good about the choice of food you just made. This is a much healthier option than some quick options around town. So I will definitely be adding this to my mental list of great local places to eat instead of the lazy fast food solutions!The staff was friendly, knowledgable, and helpful as it was our first time here. It is a small place but there is a decent amount of seating, and it keeps the place feeling homey and zen a very calm surrounding. Nice dinner setting for sure!I had a great Thai beer with my meal, I don't remember the name but it was a light coloured beer, and 5,% it was smooth, ice cold, and easy to put back! Recommend the Thai beers for sure!I cant wait to come back here, hopefully next time I can try the duck. I am sure its amazing. There are no shortages of menu options to keep your pallet busy! So make sure you check this Local Beauty out and often! I know I will!

What a gem to have in our town. Authentic and delicious Thai food with consistent level of quality. Cozy atmosphere, great service. I love the lettuce wraps - all time favorite!
