Surfin Souvlaki - Mission Viejo

This restaurant is fine, I would recommend taking as the interior is quite small and not as clean as you would expect. The food is not really Greek (I went a few times to Greece), but is not too much... A little too salty to my taste. Tzatziki was the real deal it tasted exactly as I remember

I went years ago and had completely rude arrogant behavior and attitude from the owner. Many many (7 10? years later went again because I live close now, thought maybe people change, and I like to support local businesses. I was met with a could care less for my business attitude by both the owner and the person who served my food. As if I was bothering them by ordering. I was having a rough day and purposely attempted to be extra friendly to let bygones be bygones and try and have a good experience. Wish I 'd gone somewhere they actually look at their smiling customer and answer them. (They weren 't busy and there was no line. The gyro was ok but not worth the atmosphere. If you don 't like people please don 't have a public facing business. As you can tell by my reviews I give glowing reviews everywhere I go but had to review that nothing had changed in all these years I still don 't recommend it there are plenty of other amazing restaurants that believe in hospitality. Life is hard and you never know what people are going through, be kind, especially if they may be treating themselves to your restaurant.

We've gotten delivery a few times him surfin and it's always been really good. But in person it was fantastic. Juicy chicken, which is often dry at home, delicious pita and gyros meat, which are great delivered at home, and amazing service. Outdoor seating, bring to your table and again a fantastic work staff. Highly recommend, so good! Thank you SS!

DO NOT EAT HERE! My family used to come here frequently, but ever since the pandemic, they 've raised their prices significantly. By itself, this wouldn 't be a problem. I know how hard the pandemic has been on food businesses. But their portion sizes have become insultingly small, so much so that my dad made a comment about it to the owner. My dad 's tone was not confrontational in the slightest. He did not demand more food, and in fact said it on our way out. But this guy starts yelling at him, PORTION SIZES STILL THE SAME, SIR! PORTION SIZES STILL THE SAME! When my dad tells him to calm down, the guy starts hurling curse words at him, and then at my younger brother and me. Please do not give this restaurant any business, at least until they get rid of this man. There are PLENTY of better Mediterranean restaurants, both price and flavor-wise. Go to Greek Bistro instead.

This place is amazing! The beer is so cold! My favorite is the traditional gyro, I like to order the my big fat one so I can get more meat. My wife loves the so cal salad and she ads chicken to it. We started to order to go but they have a little patio outside that you can seat. How would you not like a restaurant that that reserve a table for the fallen soldier. Thank you for surviving the pandemic! We always come here.
