Grace's Cafe - Missouri City

The lady was just rude. The first time I had to ask a few questions. She's leaving so fast. I was stunned. So I left.

OMG ordered. I got up in the middle of the night to get a little more and the rest for breakfast. DELISH!!!

The food here is good. I’m a regular customer, though not as much lately due to the inconsistent service. I'm pleased to report that I finally received friendly service! In the past, no matter how much I smiled, the staff member was always unresponsive. However, on Saturday, September 10, 2022, a very pleasant young lady served me, and she was fantastic. The oxtail was as delicious as ever, but this time it felt even better thanks to the great service. I even decided to buy something extra! I paid, grabbed my food, and left. It's amazing what a smile and some appreciation can do!

I ordered the seasoned curry goat and chicken, but both dishes were bland when I got home. I'm not sure if they actually included the spices I requested. However, the service was pleasant.

I walked in hoping to order snapper, but they only had escovitch available. I asked if I could get a fresh fried fish, and was rudely told that the kitchen was closed for the day. I considered getting the escovitch, but after that encounter, I decided to leave. It reminded me why I stopped going there years ago. Instead, I ordered steamed fish and oxtails through DoorDash from other Caribbean restaurants. Save your time and money!
