The burnt ends and wings were great. Get the wings with the garlic buffalo sauce. Music was on the perfect band. It'll be back when you get back down here.
To be too expensive on average with the price of a ground meal at $30 with the soda. Service: Sorry, but it was under par. As mentioned in the area of the environment, it was from the terrace door breezy and cold that she put us down. The server didn't explain anything and was distracted. Although she warmed up. She doesn't wear very personally at night. Environment: For a BBQ joint it looked more like a nightclub. Dark inside with blue lighting. It was cold where we sat. They sat at a door that went to the terrace, with servers that come in and out, and the breeze came to us. I mentioned it briefly after we set ourselves and the server did not even respond to my comment. Costs: quite expensive. Especially for the service and for a 4:40 arrival many things were not available. The baked potatoes were not ready for another 45 minutes, which means they were not even in the oven when we arrived, and the Cheddar potatoes where already left. Food: I like the thick slices they do for all meat All meats had a nice thick red smoke lines of the tri-tip was so well seasoned that I didn't want or needed a BBQ sauce. It was cut from the end, good for the season, but it got dry dryer, the closer I got to the end. In the end it was dry and hard to eat, and there the turkey was moist and was supplemented by the sauce. The brisket was cut again, thick, with a beautiful smoke ring that was made completely but dry. The greatest disappointment was the maismuffins. Please add some salt and maybe some honey! They were so amazing and almost impossible that my children wouldn't even eat them. If they are a recipe, buy a mix. Cole Slav, a must with BBQ was pleasant and fresh and crispy. The beans were good, nothing special, but good. The onion rings were also a great disappointment for the children. The bread was crispy, but the onion was a soggy and mosquito.
Stopped by for an early dinner after a day at Arches National Park around 5 pm. The place was empty except for one other group. My wife and I ordered the 3 meat BBQ combo (12 oz. consisting of a 1/4 rack of baby back ribs (additio nal $4.50 charge for this choice , Cajun sausage, brisket with a side of sweet potato fries and house made cole slaw. All of the items were pretty good with the brisket being my favorite. Although, I would have liked a little spicier BBQ sauce. Ordered a 16 oz. Blu Pig IPA to help wash it all down. Our waitress was extremely friendly and the food came out quick. It was a good way to end an amazing day.
Gave this place a shot because it was right across the street from where we were renting our bikes. A little nervous because no one was here but gave it a shot anyway and I'm glad we did. Biggest burger I've ever seen in my life I seriously had to smash it to get it to fit in my big mouth. I ordered the Texan burger which came with double patties, brisket and a couple of onion rings to top it off, It also came with french fries. This burger was absolutely amazing omg my wife had to help me eat it as well We also put the house barbecue sauce on it Price was reasonable for a barbecue place service was excellent not sure why anyone was here? But then again it was just after 2:00 p.m. . Their bar looks to be closed but the tall beer I ordered apricot heffe was on point! I dare you to order that burger you'll be impressed!
Both food service were unsatisfactory, would not return would not recommend. By the time we were asked if we wanted something to drink we were there over 10 mins ready to order so we just placed our order, while we waited forever to get our food we were brought the check but we said we have not eaten yet so they took it away, sometime later after the tables around us were sat, then ordered were served, we were informed there was some confusion but our order would be soon........if the food was worth it we could have ignored to poor service, sadly the food was just as poor as the service. I gave 2 stars for the food because the smoked turkey was decent and the brisket was lean but the burnt ends, potatoes, fry's, corn bread, really everything else was not good or worth the wait and cost $30.00 per plate) Also as a note, we hiked over 12 miles at arches prior to eating so we were hungry would think even terible food would have tasted great but it didnt this time.
