Fumi Sushi - Modesto

I'm done with this restaurant since the new management took over. The food break used to be good, but for the third time now, my order has been wrong, and it feels like they just don’t care. The service is not what it used to be, and it really shows. Why was I served chicken soup when I pointed out the error, only to receive the exact same dish again? And how can they confuse pork with chicken? I believe in giving places a second, maybe even a third chance, but definitely not a fourth.

The food presentation and quality are excellent. The servers and staff are very friendly. The restaurant is well-maintained and clean. Overall, I always have a nice experience whenever I visit for a meal.

Every meal is fresh and delicious! The service is polite and speedy! Sylvia, you are amazing! There's always a great crowd filled with smiles and laughter!

The food was fantastic, but the service left much to be desired. There was no bartender available until after 4 PM, and the sushi rolls were served without wasabi or ginger. Additionally, they were out of the beer we ordered and the waitress brought us a different one without consulting us first.

The food is excellent. I frequently order the same rolls, and they consistently turn out perfectly. Their baked mussels are a standout dish, while the edamame is enjoyable but not particularly remarkable. The staff is friendly and generally attentive, though they can get quite busy, which is understandable. It’s a great spot to relax and catch up with friends.
