Ihop - Mohegan Lake

Food is good but waiters horrible and take forever to go to

So I go to this ihop every weekend Janet is my server she is the best server I have ever had. The only issue I have with this ihop has nothing to do with the food or Janet it is the other employees they are rude they just sit there on there phones in the back table on the left while Janet works. I have personally watched new customers come in they just sit there on there phones . I have watched other sections sit there wait for 20 30 min “not Janet’s section” wait to even see there server I have also watched people walk out. Some of the other staff is very rude and nasty I understand a lot of them are young but there is no accountability the manager seems to be friends with all of them so I’m sure why there are no repercussions for being late or just sitting there on there phones. Mind you I’m a customer and I notice this. Something needs to change here it is very unprofessional

The food was delicious, the waiter served us very well, my discontent is that there were many tables available but for some reason that I don't know, they didn't allow us to enter, we had to wait more than 45 minutes to be assigned a table 20 minutes to food. So if you are very hungry IHOPE would not be a good option.

Friendly and accommodating waitstaff . The food was tasty and freshly made . Desserts were great as well , recommend the sundae waffle !

We ordered 1 waffle and 2 scrambled eggs,2 French toast and 2 scrambled eggs and 2 coffees. The bill was 36.00,seemed kinda high. There was only one server,he was very polite, our order took a little longer than expected,but the food was hot and tasty.
