Mindy's Ribs - Mokena

Ribs were dry and overly covered with sauce. Sauce did have nice flavor. Fried mushrooms were soggy and canned. The gentleman that bought us our food was very kind.

Gross! The burger makes McDonald’s seem like fine dining!

I tried Mindy's for the first time, drive through. The half slab was ok, not great. Not the fall-off-the-bone that I was hoping for. Coleslaw was ok, not great. French bread was fine, fries were fine, price was decent. I think Patio on 159th is a step above Mindy's on 191st. Given that I was visiting family and staying at the Quality Inn on 159th St., I'd go to Patio just a few minutes away next time, rather than make this drive again.

Food was so so. Ribs tips were super chewy and very fatty. Fries were cold bbq sauce was tasty and cornbread was delicious. Not crazy about the extremely sticky tables, and kid of messy atmosphere. I also couldn’t believe they don’t have brisket.

Sometimes the food is good sometimes the food is not.
