Agriturismo Samarcanda - MONCALVO

We happened to find a place to have lunch. Outside the tourist office of Moncalvo, which was closed, there was a map of the places to eat and we chose this farm and we did not regret it indeed we will definitely return. He welcomed us a very kind girl and made us sit in a room with the fireplace very nice and comfortable and that was just the beginning... he then exposed the fixed menu of 30 euros all inclusive appetizer, first, second sweet wine and water. The appetizer exaggerated exquisite of everything and more... first tagliatelle, second stew with potatoes but a very soft stew... three types of dessert even. Booked for this just spent weekend, a lunch between friends, trusting me of the advice of a person who had already been guest to have lunch at the Agriturismo Samarcanda di Moncalvo....gravissimo error!!! The owner welcomes us in a poor way, rude and indisposable. Called a month and a half ago a whole room since we were in 23 people, the owner paid a lot of attention not to tell me that the room communicated directly with the toilet, so I let you imagine our discomfort given by the way go of the other guests of the farm). We eat how to say with the imbued because the innkeeper explains to us that while having booked almost two months before and therefore having all the right to eat in Santa pace we would have had to hurry eating as fast as possible because she waited for another comitive. The courses are almost literally thrown on the table to accelerate the times, personally at some point I thought to spread the pudding on the meat.... The menu set was varied from the inn at its discretion e.g.: risotto with truffle modified in risotto in white since the innkeeper had not purchased the tuber because too expensive, braised with potatoes in the oven modified with steak and fries). Cute Inn in the middle of the hills of Moncalvo.... sincato for the welcome and the little availability and attention to the customer by the young innkeeper......... Weekly menu not at the height of the local territoriality.
