Írjon visszajelzéstCame here by recommendation of my uncle who is a regular and has been visiting Paula for many years. The view over the valley is amazing. We sat outside, sadly the chairs and tables were already starting to fall apart. At least they put a table cloth paper on the table after a while. The service was quite slow which was ok since we got the wine first. The Ham was nice, however we couldn't enjoy it together with the garlic bread as it came out 20 mins later. The garlic bread came cold and was mediocre at best. We then had to wait another 20 minutes for the tomato salad which we specifically ordered as a starter. The Piri Piri chicken is to die for however the fries were disgusting. They were greasy and raw. The tarta de nata was really good, the other cakes not so much. All in all a mixed experience.
A locally run, traditional restaurant. Very welcoming, run by the wonderful Paula. Great choice of local dishes. I recommend cheese, presunto, and olives. House wine, dish of the day. The best chicken piri piri.
Dos adultos y tres niños. Si vienes por la zona muy buen restaurante, hemos quedado muy contentos, precios buenos, comida buena y servicio excelente. Carta en español también. El bacalao castelo muy bueno.
The New Rampa !!!! If you are missing the old Rampa don’t worry, this is the same Chef and Waitress who are running a new venue. The chicken peri peri is made with the special sauce and barbecued to perfection. The chips are hand cut and home cooked and the tomato salad is tasty and just what you have come to expect. The service is a delight and the owner takes pride in all that she does. We ate in and had take away and both very the best food in the area. This is the best chicken in the area and a must visit.. we were delighted to find this hidden delight.
We’ve been going to his restaurant for quite a few years now and have never had a bad meal It’s got to be the best piri piri chicken by far I’ve ever eaten Paula the owner is amazing and very helpful even though at times it gets very busy We go every year and my kids would quite easily eat there every day
