Campanile Auxerre Restaurant

Stayed at this Hotel for 2 nights after my car broke down on the motorway travelling from San Maxine to Cherbourg. Clotilde was so kind as I was very upset. All of the staff are a credit to the hotel. I had 2 dinners and they were excellent. The room was very clean. I would certainly recommend it.

We got a meal Deal that we bought at Premier classe for €12.90 including an alcoholic drink! We wanted something to warm the belly as we had below zero temperatures. We opted for the Thai Curry. I chose the salad bar and sis in law the deserts so we can be naughty and make it three course dinner). When the curry arrived, it looked so drab we actually Googled and showed the waiter a photo of what a Thai Curry should look like. Ours was gray and was not appealing to eat. The waiter was really ok with that and we could swap for fish and chips. These were actually really good and tasty. The dessert came cheeses choice was really good here as well. We missed out on breakfast next day as it is until 9am. We woke up around that time after noisy travellers kept us awake till late in nearby Premier C.

I have always found the menus will have something for everyone. Prices are reasonable. The location means no long walk to find a restaurant after a long days drive. This time we both opted for the salad bar and cheese dessert menu. The salad bar was fresh and a good selection. 4 types of cheese and plenty of choice of desserts, including fresh fruit. Staff were friendly.

Restaurant: the setting and the food do not suit me at all. ADVIS MODIFIED, THE PREVIOUS AYANT ETE SUPPRIMÉ.

To have slept in another campanile this one is left to the abandonment of broken garbage unusable personal garbage that return to your room after depositing your horrible breakfast honestly I'm really disappointed. I do not recommend especially for the price 64€ the room I would have preferred any other hotel
