A stop on the way home. very clean, waiter service. you can sit inside or outside. pretty big inside. we had fish finger sandwiches tee. a chalk menu for many milkshakes many possibilities for cake too.

During our vacation in Abergavenny, we visited The Trading Post with our dog in search of a dog-friendly cafe for a family breakfast. The staff at The Trading Post were extremely friendly and accommodating, especially towards our dog Monty. We enjoyed exceptional meals at The Trading Post throughout our five-day holiday, including breakfast, lunch, and coffee. The menu was simple, tasty, and great value for money. The breakfast in particular was amazing and well-priced. We will definitely be revisiting The Trading Post when we are in the area again. Great job!

We enjoyed a large teacake to go along with our delicious cappuccino. The 'Mr. Whippy' ice cream was excellent as well. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

We visited this morning and sat at the outside tables (we have a dog, so we sat at an outside table!). The waitress came to take our order and mentioned that dogs were allowed. I ordered the sweet soup with half a baguette, and my partner had the fish finger sandwich. The soup was absolutely delicious, so flavorful and comforting, and the baguette was warm. The fish finger sandwich was heavenly, and the coleslaw was the best he had ever tasted. We also enjoyed a lovely cup of coffee.

Excellent spot to grab a cake, coffee or a full breakfast. Well priced, staff are really friendly, food and drinks top quality and the seating is very comfortable. Is also MUCH bigger than it looks Look forward to returning.
