The Walnut Tree Inn - Monmouthshire

Delicious food in a relaxed, informal setting. Had the lunch menu which was beautifully cooked and efficiently served. Deserts were sublime. Not cheap but very much worth a visit if you want to spoil yourself.

Very confusing visit. The muffins were actually tear and share bread. The sweetbreads were neither sweet nor bread… and John Dory is not a person!

Lovely rural restaurant in fantastic surroundings. Great atmosphere with attentive staff. Delicious food, however rather pricey.

Shaun hill is often said to be the chef chef and they see why when they are at his place dine. the menu is quite simple, but it is full of taste and surprise. I had the asparagus star and was thrilled with the result....The wee are so expensive that even the house was white of a quality / price I had never tasted. the service is immaculate, discreet and that I want in a restaurant like this.

One of the best restaurants in the environment made a simple choice for our special celebration. service best. exquisite food well presented with great love for detail. comprehensive wine cellar. another pleasant experience in the walnut tree. Thank you!
