Uroboro Pub - MONOPOLI

Came here every single night we were Monopoli. Made new friends, including patrons and Francesca and Federico. I hope I spelled those correctly. They were so sweet, we had to keep aiming back. Ate at the best pizza joint because of Francesca. Love. Love. Love.

Best place in Monopoli to drink. Only one street away from the awful tourist traps. Amazing cellar from the 16th century where you can cool down after a warm day with some amazing beers and food. Great owners as well. Definitely offer! :

We stumbled across here following signs for a 15th century pub. We were not disappointed. The guys made us so welcome and chatted about micro pubs in England. Great range of beers, wines and spirits. Burgers look amazing. Going to try one on Sunday. Lots of hard graft that’s gone into making this bar an absolutely lovely place to relax.

Having lived in Monopoli for a few months, I was very pleasantly surprised to be introduced to this pub/restaurant by some locals. Just off the main path leading to Plaza Garibaldi, it is easy to miss but shouldn 't be missed at all! Beautifully redone interior with a ton of history, coupled with a great selection of beer, and good food make this place one of the best in Monopoli to spend a few hours. One of the owners lived in Australia for more than 10 years, speaks perfect English, and is very welcoming. This place would be a really perfect spot to escape the summer heat.

This bar is a must to visit. Good food great ales and wine reasonably priced. Hospitality was marvellous. A unique cellar bar.
