Rockys Pizzeria and Grill - Monroe

I am not local and a very picky pizza snob and I am pleased to say that this New York style pizza joint passed the test. We picked up a Pepperoni and Bacon 20 and were pleasantly pleased! Don't let the location fool you the pizza is great!

We got tje garlic knots. They were tasty. We also ordered a 20 inch pizza. Half was meat lovers and half was burger, black olive and mushroom. The pizza waa about 22 inches and very tasty. One slice is like three. The service was slow but the food was pretty good. The sause has a slight sweetness to it.

Great local place. I love coming here when I'm passing through. Do understand when you go, our industry has been hit hard. Good employees are hard to find. So be nice. I see people be rude to the staff here unnecessarily. There isn't an infinite amount of space in the oven or fryers. So, when they get busy, and you want take out pizza and wings, think about the fact that there may be a wait. The 20 orders in front of you add up. Basic math skills should help you understand why you have to wait. Anyway, love Rocky's.

I was absolutely in love with Rocky?s pizza and wings until this last visit. I had been a customer for years and I ordered the wing and spaghetti this time. The lady did mention that the wings were small but that was an understatement. This is no exaggeration but I can?t think of a bird small enough that these wings could have came from. And the spaghetti was absolutely horrible! I understand hard times and shortages but if the items aren?t up to par just take them off the menu.

Ordered a 20 in pepperoni pizza, garlic knots and pepperoni roll. The pizza was delicious. I was not a fan of the garlic knots which were not knots at all, they were like air puffed something or another lol. Pepperoni roll was boring but not horrible. So definitely try the pizza.
