Mancino's Pizza And Grinders - Monroe

It's been a while since we had Mancinos. Last time we had dinner there, it was from Big Lots. A few years. The bread on the grinders has changed, but they are still delicious. Kudos.

Typically, the pizza here is quite good, but tonight something went wrong in the kitchen. Unfortunately, my pizza was awful. Perhaps it was my mistake for asking for extra cheese and pepperoni. Regardless, when I brought it home, it fell apart at the slightest touch. You might think it was just too hot, but the truth is there was so much pizza sauce that the crust was completely soaked through. It ended up being a soggy mess. Overall, my dinner was a disappointment, and I wasted $18 on it. Thanks for nothing.

A friend recommended Mancino to me, and I decided to give it a try. I had never had a grinder before, but it was absolutely delicious! I also tried the sautéed mushrooms, and they were fantastic as well.

When I started eating my grinder, I found several charred pieces that seemed more like remnants from a dirty pan rather than burnt food. I picked out seven large pieces while searching through my grinder. Additionally, my friend's grinder had chicken that was quite rubbery. This is usually one of our favorite spots, and we typically order from here weekly, but the food has been off the mark this weekend. I’m not sure what’s going on. On a positive note, the pizza was good.
