Sal's Place Family - Monroe

Stopped in for lunch checking out my new hometown. Friendly family oriented place with great staff. Staff was friendly, attentive, and fun. Very casual and relaxed atmosphere, makes it homey. The food comes out fast, hot and delicious. Everything cooked to perfection. Great portion for the price.Food: 5/5

Lives up to its high rating. An excellent small diner Coney with basic but well-prepared food. Had the Fish Chips, which live up to the rave reviews that others have given them.Food: 5/5

From out of town second visit to this place...it's a pretty solid diner to order from. Good sign when you go in at 730pm and it's jam packed with locals! Chopped sirloin could have used some brown gravy is really the only thing holding me back from 5 stars. Perch dinner and baked potato excellent. Will revisit this diner on next trip to Monroe. Oh..banana pudding is the best!

I had an amazing dinner featuring ribs! The half rack was enough to satisfy three days' worth of cravings. The beef soup was the best I've ever tasted. Instead of a traditional birthday cake, I opted for rice pudding, which was the perfect way to finish off the meal. Even with the dining room nearly full, the service was quick and attentive, and every request was met. Food: 5/5.
