My wife told our waitress that we visited for the first time. We went through the city to avoid the rain. The couple at the front table overheard our commentary on the waitress for the first time. The look of surprise and we overtaked us when this young one returned with a receipt he paid for our dinner because it was our first visit. Life won't be better than that. Bless this man for kindness for two people from the city.

Came from home to a really good meal. It's always a treat at David's. We had the family dinner and Cajun Shrimp and Grotten. Everything was really good!

We got catfish and popcorn shrimp special on Wednesday. It was outstanding! Everything was cooked perfect the fish shrimp fries and hushpuppies were great and cheese grits are awesome! It was way more than we could eat. Annsley was a great hostess for us too.

David's Catfish House in Monroeville, AL is where we ate today, it was by far the best meal we had since we left home over a week ago. Great folks and great waitresses. I had the rib eye steak, my wife had the 2 piece Catfish fillets....both were super !!!
