Navy Beach, Montauk

After a year, this visit would be my last. The service was cruel. We went in and sat right away, but the service ended there. After an employee got our water, another individual we learned later was asked our server (he never imagined) about our order. He was not welcoming or helpful, but made us feel like sitting down within the first 5 minutes, he came back and asked for our order THREE times. During the third visit, we decided to start with two appetizers, and he reacted in the short term that he needed the whole order to put it at once. Would it? ve was helpful when he introduced himself and explained this earlier. So we can quickly decide on Entrees. I command the burger and he reacts? How? I'm confused what he asks, so I repeat the burger?. He's repetitive, huh? I then realized that he was asking how to cook it. I also asked if I could be on a separate review as I was the only one in the group was not drinking and he reacted bluntly NO. We were a party of 4 so insecure why he was not willing to bring 2 checks, but good. I found the mathematics and he took my payment in the end. From there the food came super fast, which was great, but he never came by to ask if everything was fine. Instead, halfway through our meal, there were numerous attempts to take half the full plates off the table, which was disturbing and felt hurried and worried. Perhaps the most ridiculous moment of dinner was at perfect time when the sun set and the sky was nice, the server decides to take a break, standing right in front of our table (back to us) blocks our table?s view of the sunset. After sunset, all visits to the table stopped abruptly, then it was impossible to get a last drink or dessert order, as he never came back to check in. Instead, the check was put down without asking us if we needed anything else. The whole experience, his attitude and sound ruined what should be? ve was a relaxing meal with friends to pick up. This kind of person, who is clearly abusive, should not be in a client-oriented role. There are many other restaurants in Montauk overlooking the coast and sunsets, namely Crows Nest, which has a better menu and service. I'm not back to Navy Beach.

Went early afternoon and had a GREAT TIME!! Food was AMAZING, really. We did a bunch of apps and we throughly enjoyed them all? along with a fun refreshing drink. Went with adults and two little ones and they enjoyed the water and the rocks to play with. Plenty of seating by the water and nice vibe to go from table to the water. Fabulous time 10/10

Absolutely wonderful setting that is really worth a visit. The website says make reservations 14 days in advance. I was lucky to call on a Tuesday right when they opened and got a table for lunch that day at 12:30. If you call keep trying, it took a while to get through. You can sit indoors or outdoors on the amazing beach overlooking the sound. This is really serene. To staff there servers and greeters and valet were all super nice. The wine selection and drinks were great, and the food was good but not amazing. It was over priced for the quality, but you are paying for the setting and experience. The high point was my friends tuna tartare which she liked a lot. We had the shishitos which had way too much oil on them. We also had the mahi taco special but the fish was a bit chunk and a bit bland (not sure if it was fresh or frozen) so it didn't quite come together.

Came here for dinner and left with a sunset that I will never forget! This restaurant is gorgeous, set right on the water. A very casual/relaxed atmosphere with people hanging with a drink, chatting and taking in the all the sights. Food was excellent and even if seafood isn?t your thing they had plenty of other options on the menu. My recommendation is to check what time about sunset will be and make dinner reservations for an hour in advance. Take a seat, order a drink, and bask in the amazing sunset.

Amazing! Great service, delicious food and drinks. Fresh and clean. Beautiful view, I mean, we are literally sitting on the beach on the water. Had the Halibut. One of the best meals I have had in a long time! Snobspot for sure.
