Alberto's Mexican Food - Montclair

I love going to Albertos! The service is great and so is the food! Our family was often in this place and we enjoy it. Recommend the Carne Asada Pommes. If you are looking for a good authentic Mexican place, this is your way to spot.

All I can say is to check your food before you leave one of our food orders was wrong

Walked up and was greeted nicely, order a torta special that comes with fries and a drink and a carnitas burrito added a rice water drink. Then he told me the total $32 I stated that on the screen it showed $12 for the special and $10 for the burrito. He then stated that those prices were not valid and that the tortoise special would be $13 again. I asked why $32 he couldn’t give me an explanation and didn’t give me a receipt, I will be back again the garbage Do not come here

I don’t go out to eat restaurants, but there Grilled/Shredded Chicken Plate, Shrimp Plate, and Guacamole are delicious not too mention it’s real food not your typical “fast food” it’s genuinely homemade. No canned food nor pouches! Vegetarian options: Veggie Burritos, Veggie anything as long as you tell them what you want. Dietary restrictions: Some items in the menu are healthy for you.
