Chef Lee's Mandarin House - Monterey

The first time there in 3-4 years. Beautiful location, large parking lot. The food was good, but not as good as we remember. Service was fine, no complaints about it. Try again soon as perhaps only one night for the cook(s).

Food was good; ingredients tasted fresh and sauces were tasty. The restaurant itself could use some maintenance, and our waitress was not very attentive so our service was below average.

I got the broccoli and beef rice plate and it was a big plate! Very good taste and amount. Great atmosphere. The restaurant building itself is a beautiful sight to see as well, especially for an architecture and interior design enthusiast like me.

Full parking lot on a Wednesday night you know it has to be good! Split Mongolian beef chicken chow mein with my husband. Both were great! Also got the crab wontons and they were better than MANY crab wontons/Rangoon I?ve had before. Really, really fast service.

First time at Chef Lee's. The decor inside is well done with wood and tile painted ceilings. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. Ordered lunch, broccoli beef rice plate with chowmein. Food was presented well on the plate and tasted very good. This place is on the return list.
