Came in for a cold 6 pack and the beer i received out of their cooler is barely colder than room temp. If you are selling cold beer, sell COLD beer....

This liquor store is overpriced and caters to just a tiny fraction of Monterey's population, and the layout of the products feels oddly Asian. Instead of redesigning the space, they've crammed the beer cooler behind the register—it's just not practical. The staff is unbelievable in the worst way. There are plenty of fantastic neighborhood liquor shops in Monterey and Carmel, so I really don’t understand why anyone would choose to spend their money here. I recommend checking out Cork n Bottle or just heading over to Whole Foods. If you don’t mind paying high prices, you could even go to the place next to Elroy's.
