We went here from a recommendation add from google listing Montrio as a great place. Well. The food was poorly presented, poorly prepared and lacking in any creativity. The service absolutely the worst I have had in a long time. Have you been someplace and you felt you were not welcome, this was one of those times. Every chance the sever had he would run to the bar to chat with what looked to be the manager. The staff seemed put out and exasperated to take our order or just to check on us. For the foodCrab cakes ok. Oysters, tasteless. Chicken dry and no taste. The steak was ok and prepared well, but not worth the money . Nothing about Montrio would make me want to come back. Bottom line, with so many great choices in the area, try those. You will have a much better experience. I really wanted to like this restaurant. Absolutely amazing. Owner greeted us at the door and it just got better and better from there! Menu rocks this restaurant deserves all the accolades it gets. We love their sister restaurants as wellTarly’s Roadhouse and Rio Grill. Bravo to the owners Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The best menu/food in the Monterey bay. Changing the review of this place. The menu has changed drastically and it is just not the same as it was before when they had medium and small plates. It's okay now, not great.

Great service for a group of 10. Food was delicious and portions are hearty and filling. We ordered a variety of appetizers and EVERY dish was delicious! Highly recommend! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
