Because this was the top restaurant in montilla on trip advisor, we decided to check it out at our only night here. I hate to give a bad review, but we had such a wild experience other than the other diners, I think it must be shared to help other traveling to make their decisions. we suspect that perhaps the cook was for the night out because our food came very fast and it was Eastermontag and we sat shortly after the opening of the restaurant. that is, we ordered the artichokes in Montilla sauce and they were tasteless and float in a gel-like yellow sauce. the cod in tomato sauce had such a fishy smell and tasted as if he had perhaps been left to another day. we couldn't eat it. the garnels in garlic oil was the high point in the meal and we cleaned all our bread in the dazzling garlic and butter delicious. also our last run of the baby lamb was very disappointing. the lamb dogs consisted of miniscule amounts of hard, chewing meat and large amounts of fat. they were not spiced with anything. the pommes were very tasty. Please note that the waiter/bartender who is responsible for the place was very friendly and served us delicious fino and fino joven from the region. there were no other diners in the restaurant, just a handful of older men drinking beer and fino and talking. Maybe that's what we're trying to go to dinner on Easter Monday, but we expected more of the other reviews. I have eaten Spanish in almost all large and some small regions and that was one of the most disappointing experiences.
I come back to my hometown, remembering many old good memories. Whenever I enter torres restaurant, it is important to think of the various excellent lunch and dinner I spent in his four walls. the food was as always pleasant in. quality, taste and also in quantity. I recommend the special araña the berenjenas and the flamenquins for the exchange. the service was correct and helpful, even the waiter was really nice and friendly that helps if they want a good meal. Finally, torres is a good place to spend time with their family and enjoy a good taste of traditional Spanish and monillan foods.
Visited here for lunch, the service, food and decor of the restaurant were Fabulous, the food was fantastic and we enjoyed the wine too. The waiter was very attentive and the service was very good, not rushed and we had a wonderful lunch. The restaurant...is located just opposite the Alvear Shop as we had visited there for a tour round the sherry bodega and spotted the restaurant on leaving. A must visit for anyone going to Montilla.
My family and I came to lunch after the visit of alvear. eating is average, but the service is good, despite the fact that the waiter does not speak English. but what we like most is the calm and calm that my family and. I enjoy a non-hecian lunch.
