Cordova - Montréal

This caffe is very unfriendly for children. Sunday morning, on my man's birthday, we stopped with our 6 months old baby for breakfast. we were let in, have a table, ordered a meal, but as soon as coffee and eating arrived, we were asked to go because the caffe claimed that they did not allow minors in the inner. they talked about an alcohol license that did not allow them to have children. No matter that we didn't order alcohol. I find these generally offensive and ridiculous, as we were in many caffes, restaurants and even brewery with our baby and never had a problem. we left with great disappointment and without compliment from the caffe that would have shown that they are sorry.

During my second visit to this café, I found that the quality of the cup was inconsistent. The barista seemed to lack knowledge about the different blends being sold in the shop. However, the coffee was brewed using a La Marzocco Leva machine by skilled baristas. Despite some inconsistent cups during my last visit, I would still rate this café 5 stars based on the high-quality cups I have had there. They offer a great selection of high-quality and unique blends, making it a great example of a third wave coffee shop. The coffee is served in sustainable cups, which is a plus. I would recommend this café, but I hope that the cup quality remains consistent every day of the week.

They accused me of two croissants, but only one. I didn't notice it until I got home. but the coffee and the food are good. would recommend.

I will not be returning to Cordova in the future, even though I enjoy their coffee and the fact that they allow dogs. The staff member there is incredibly rude. He made me feel foolish, even though I am not. When I questioned why he spoke to me in such a manner, his response was just as disrespectful. I do not recommend this establishment.

Luke is the best!!!!! For Luke you get four stars!!!! I leave off one star because I do think it would help to have some cold drinks like water or juice. And a selection of teas. Sometimes us coffee addicts just want to change our addiction for a day. About them not allowing children, I’m not sure that is true I have seen babies in there before and it was fine. Maybe it was one loud baby? As for customer service yep a lot of the coffee ?’s can be a little mean and snobby. But maybe ? it is just ok since we don’t expect them to be fake. Still I had a few rude people and a few amazing people like Luke and the guy with the British accent. It’s a unique vibe. I do wish they would sell my structure coffee beans again ? I go downtown to buy them now. Coffee is good here so that’s good.
