Don Taco - Montréal

The tacos they serve here are so good! I always get the fish tacos! The staff is really friendly too!

They moved a little while ago into a shared space with a dessert shop, a little strange but at least they have seating room now. The food is decent and not expensive, plus they have regular specials. However, they're really slow so don't expect to be in and out for takeout, it takes some patience.

It's not your regular restaurant it's more of a dessert place but it's really good the stuff is nice:)

I have been to most taquerias/mexican joints in the city, this one has to be my least favorite. The staff is friendly, the place is clean, the service was good, BUT the food is just not mexican, it looks mexican but it tastes like something else. I ordered tacos al pastor, all I tasted was cumin, tacos al pastor don't even have cumin. The guacamole was good, so were the beans but again nothing mexican about it

Wife and I had reservations at this other place, we got there early and decided to go for a stroll on Ste-catherine street. We walked by this place and made a mental note that we had to come back and visit.Soooo.....next day, we drive an hour and roam half an hour for parking to get to Don Taco's Taqueria. Well well worth the effort. 16$ and change we got 6 chicken tacos and 2 El Pastors! And they were absolutely lovely. Crisp warm tortillas, delicious meats, cilantro onion and just enough heat. 3 choices of salsas - verde, rojo and regular. The rojo is to die for! Smoky guajillo's with tomato and spices. Really really nice place! .99$ Tuesday tacos as well! We will be going back often! Thank you Don Taco!
