Mikado Laurier - Montréal

If you do not mind waiting for hours for your food, this may be for you, as food is very good, although pricey. The worst is that the place was not full, and the stuff did not looked overworked. They were just wondering around without any particular purpose. We left before ordering desert, as it was too much. Certainly not coming back.

This restaurant lives up to its reputation. Excellent food and service! Plus, I was invited as a guest.

We ordered online this evening, really disappointed with the quality of the sushi. The presentation left something to be desired, the fish were not all as fresh as we would have liked. In short, it was a first and last order from Mikado :

Sensational sushi and main courses in an authentic and soothing atmosphere. A perfect place for a romantic evening or with friends. The place is spacious to accommodate a lot of people. I'm particularly a fan of the bar where you can see one of the cooks regularly preparing dishes. The sake list is also one of the largest in Montreal. You will certainly find what you are looking for there.
