Aldo Gianni - Montvale

Located in a strip mall, this quaint restaurant is clearly family-owned and authentic. Despite a surprisingly limited wine selection, the food more than makes up for it. My friend ordered the veal parmesan and proclaimed it the best she had ever tasted. I opted for the penne taormina with eggplant, Fontina cheese, and penne in tomato sauce, which was simply to die for. The sauce was flawless, the portions were generous, and it came with a sizable salad. Yum!

This Italian restaurant is fantastic. We make sure to eat here every week when we are in town. The gnocchi is delicious and the country-style chicken is unbelievably good.

I haven't been to this restaurant in years, but back when they first opened, they were fantastic! It has an old-school vibe.

Best italian in the area. This place is expensive, but the food is very, very good. Best Italian in the area...they have mastered the red sauce, everything is very fresh, the inside decor is nice, etc. Just be prepared to pay for it...don't assume because of the location right diagonal from a dairy queen that it's cheap.

Aldo and Gianni has been in Montvale for years. Their menu offers Consistent Good Food at a fair price.
