Jacksons Restaurant Rotisserie Bar Doubletree

The food was decent but not exceptional. Some of us ordered the wedge salad, which included spoiled red peppers. When we notified the waitress, she seemed indifferent, and as a result, no one ate the peppers on their salads. We've dined here before, and it feels like they could really use an overall update.

The food was excellent, but the service was quite slow. There was only one waitress for the entire dining area and one bartender. It's hard to tell if the waitress was forgetful or just overwhelmed.

The restaurant was located in a hotel, and even though we had a reservation, we were greeted with a "seat yourself" sign upon arrival. The food was excessively sweet, including the calamari and the apple and walnut salad, which oddly had no greens. There was only one waitress serving the tables, and she brought our drinks one at a time. Overall, we were not impressed.

We really enjoyed our meals.....very pleasantly surprised......

We've always had great meals at Jackson's. The steaks are cooked to perfection and the appetizers are innovative and good.
