The Boathouse - Moonee Ponds

The best place I could enjoy a coffee on a Sunday afternoon for a date! In addition to a great location around a river in Park Maribyrnong with an amazing view, it has one of the best cafes we've ever had the pleasure of discovering and tasting. And one of the stars dishes, "Falafel", which was seasoned and ideal flavor.Which made me come back for a Monday night to try some Pizzas, which until today in the city of Melbourne were the best pizzas ever eaten and with the best price ever seen!About the reception of the house, I just have to thank everyone, besides a great management, I was very well received by all the staffs both days.

On Sat 12 Aug my partner & I had a lovely relaxing dinner at the boathouse restaurant. We booked a table for 6.30pm. On arrival we were greeted immediately by the manager Bruno who was very pleasant and helpful. We were provided a private table for 2. Service was quick & very efficient. Once seated we were asked if we would like to start with a drink & i was provided with a sample taste of a glass of wine to ensure i was happy with my choice. I ordered a scotch fillet steak & my partner ordered the special of the day, "seafood pasta". My steak was cooked to perfection! I asked for medium rear & it was exactly that! During our meal we were asked how our meal was & we could not have asked for a better meal i replied.. the steak came with the most flavoursome potato chip & vegetables that i have had in a very long time.. the recipe was a winner. i ordered the chocolate pudding with ice cream for desert & it was delicious. Not too rich & not too dull. I give the customer service 10 out of 10. Very friendly, very attentive, very helpful & customer service focussed! Great evening & satisfied. I look forward to returning very soon! Thank you.

Everytime we go back we are disappointed with the poor and slow service. They need more staff to cater to the amount of tables. 3/10 Gary.

We received wonderful service, which was unobtrusive, but very attentive. Water and drinks arrived soon after ordering. We ordered the trio of dips to share, accompanied by turkish bread. Very tasty. I had ordered the mushroom risotto, which was truly delicious.The fish and chips looked awesome and the waygu burger was perfectly cooked.Dessert was a deconstructed white chocolate cheese cake, with chocolate and nuts - a really delicate flavour.We had a view of the river and we commented that we could easily hold a conversation, as the noise level was very low. We enjoyed the evening immensely and would highly recommend the Boathouse!

We were invited for a birthday lunch at the restaurant and were impressed by the excellent service, quality food and the location itself.On the banks of the Maribyrnong river with easy access from Maribyrnong Road, the venue is ideally placed for that special occasion. There is a choice of seating, indoors and outside and a great view of the river from the bench seating at one end of the restaurant.
