(Especially on taco Tuesday) Can’t wait to visit here more often.Vegetarian options: Love the black bean empanadasKid-friendliness: The kids taco is loved by my daughter and Wednesdays kids eat free.Parking: Plenty of space to park
I got a salad... It had hard stems, uncooked rice, and hard, burnt beans. Every other bite I'm pulling something out. This is disappointing to say minimally. I'd go somewhere else.
Went to this store yesterday, cashier was busy doing something on the register and 3 people standing around.I was the only one in the store but I was never acknowledged at all after a few minutes I just left.I liked this place too, guess I won’t be going back again!
My grandmother lives in town and a few weeks ago my parents came to visit her. They raved about eating here. So my grandmother and I decided we were going to go in and try it. We ordered two empandas , two dessert empandas and one cheese arepa. Now once we ordered we sat and waited, food was quick but we were given our desert empandas first (there was cinnamon sugar on top of each of them). Now while we were ordering I specifically told them I did not eat meat. The desert empandas (guava and pineapple) turned out to be both beef. I was served meat as a vegetarian. We waited on trying them until we were given the rest of our food. The arepa was severely undercooked and when I went up to ask them to melt the cheese more they told me It comes that way and they could not do anything about it. Just a heated piece of bread with some cold cheese in there. Okay fine. I go back to the table to eat my veggie empanda that was okay at best . We tried the desert ones after. The food was horrible and the fact they didn't seem to care was even worse. Manager (who by which seemed very clueless while we were ordering) was sitting chilling on his phone while most of this was happening. Needless to say none of my family will be back, and now I know why the place was empty on a Friday evening!
Let me start by saying my husband and I love Sabor. We were one of their very first customers at their restaurant in Charlotte on Hawthorne and 7th. The staff and managers all knew us and we went every week, sometimes twice. Our experience was always good, with an occasional hiccup here or there. Fast forward a few years and we moved to Mooresville. We’ve been to the Mooresville location a few times and it’s been just okay and very different than previous experiences in Charlotte. Today, we stopped in for lunch. We both ordered burritos and it happened to be the special. The girl who rang us out said they were out of the larger burrito shells, but they would be sure to stuff the smaller shells full to make up for this. Well, it took 20 minutes to get our food and when it came we were both very disappointed. We were served burritos that looked like the sad burrito supremes from Taco Bell. My husband was extremely disappointed as it took some convincing to get him back into this restaurant because the last 2 visits yielded similar experiences. I mentioned this to the girl at the register when I placed our order. She was very nice and said she would make sure to let the person making our order aware of this. Also, if you receive the wrong shells for a burrito, an easy fix is to align 2 shells to make the proper size. Not sure I can get him back here again. Please do better Sabor.
