The main reason I come back time and time again to James for takeout is their vegetables.

Freezer burnt pot stickers. Overly sweet beef black bean chow fun, nearly inedible. Sauces essentially soy only _Not good. Would go elsewhere next time

Delicious food, fast and friendly service, nice atmosphere! We had the wor wonton soup (lovely ginger taste in the wontons, a hearty soup), Cantonese chow mein (crispy noodles, nice mix of veggies and meat) and sweet and tasty honey garlic ribs. Hosts were very friendly!

This was so good! We ordered eggplant in spicy garlic sauce, braised bean cake hot pot, 3 kinds of mushrooms with seasonal Chinese greens, and Shanghai thick noodles (without chicken). The eggplant dish was by far my favourite but they were all really good. I think we were the only people to order the bean cake, so she made really sure we knew what we were ordering, and to be honest it was probably the freshest tasting tofu I've had in a restaurant. This is my kind of restaurant, it's all about the food. I'm sure the decor would put some people off, but it's clean and humble.
