Mora Kaffestuga

We have tried all of the cafes in the area, but this one is always our favorite. The cakes are fantastic and the coffee is excellent. It is a typical Swedish cafe with the added bonus of outside seating.

But mostly with one leg in the old world, both in terms of decor and pastry selection. Probably it works great, as the room was filled with customers of all ages.

We visited for lunch during July. The sandwiches, cakes and coffee were all very good. There was a long queue to order, but we didn’t mind, as we saw it as an indicator that the food would be good. The staff were also very good at understanding my bad Swedish :

This is a great café with large salads, plenty of desserts, and unlimited tea and coffee. The prices are reasonable.
