Baskin-robbins - Morningside

The customer service I received from one of the employees was very disappointing. After my friend and I ordered our double scoops, we went to the cash register. Inside the store, there was a small sign encouraging customers to download the Baskin Robbins app. I did so, thinking I could get a free scoop if I signed up. I was right, as the app offered a "welcome scoop". I showed the cashier the free scoop code, but she said I couldn't use it because we both got double scoops. I suggested she just charge us for one single scoop and one double, and that could be my free welcome scoop. She insisted it would be more expensive, which made no sense, as a single scoop costs less than a double scoop. After some back and forth, she finally changed the order and the total was actually less, as I had suggested from the beginning. As we were paying, another woman was leaving the store and the cashier said something disrespectful about her in Spanish, assuming I wouldn't understand. It was completely uncalled for and rude. If she had focused on her job and basic math, she wouldn't have been frustrated with a paying customer. Needless to say, I won't be returning due to the lack of respect.

I came to this restaurant specifically for a sundae, but was disappointed to find out they only offer simple sundaes with no toppings like brownies or cookie dough. It was not worth the journey.

AVOID THIS PLACE! I visited this evening on 10/6/22 for a single scoop of ice cream in a waffle cone. Unfortunately, my cone was stale. When I asked for a replacement, I was informed that they only make fresh cones every 5 days. I was not provided with a new cone or offered a refund. In the end, I had to settle for a bowl and discard the cone. Additionally, during my second visit, a young male employee was mopping the floor. He assisted me without washing his hands until I requested it. Instead, he opted to wear gloves. This was not my first disappointing encounter, and it seems unlikely to improve. Save your money and visit elsewhere, as this establishment is not worth it at all!

Didn’t have any of the flavors that were on the app. No coffee flavored ice cream and no brownie sundaes. They didn’t have any “cool” or “exciting” flavors either. Very disappointed. I was really liking forward to it too.

Nice for the Dunkin’ Donuts , can be busy so order ahead via the app (beware that they cannot refund you at the location for all mobile orders over $20 you gotta call corporate which is a hassle). I deducted 2 stars because the do not follow their hours at all. They open late and close early all the time, so i don’t know why they just won’t change their hours online accordingly.
