Timeless Elegance Tea Room - Morristown

It is always a great place to eat and all the waitresses are so nice. It's a beautiful place to eat.

Best place in Morristown for lunch. The squash soup is great and the homemade chicken and dumplings are delicious ! I've been eating here for many years and never been disappointed. The fruit tea is a real thirst quencher! Try it you won't regret it!

Last month I took my family to the Timeless Elegance Tea Room. Brooke, Kelly Long's (the cook) fiancée was there and recommended several dishes. We ordered most everything on the menu. My favorite, fried tomatoes and chicken salad. The pimento cheese, quiche and soups were all very good. Everyone loved the nutty buddy pie. The men were not sure the portions would be large enough. Not only was everything delicious but the portions are man sized and affordable. Thank you Brooke and Kelly for the great recommendations and service.

On October 24, we reached out via email to inquire about the estimate. We received a response on October 26, saying they would have something for us within a week. Unfortunately, after that, we didn't hear from them again until January 14. We made numerous attempts to contact them, sending several emails and making multiple calls, during which the regular staff promised that the catering team would get back to us soon. Our coordinator even contacted them directly. We even made a personal visit, only to be told that the catering staff was too busy to talk. Given their lack of communication and reliability, we decided to go with another provider. After posting negative reviews, we finally received a response from them. They stated they would refund our deposit, minus the $50 tasting fee, if we agreed to remove our reviews. We accepted their offer and took down the negative feedback. Now, three months later, we have yet to see our deposit returned. We did our part, and their promise remains unfulfilled.

Here's where things took a turn for the worse. A couple of weeks passed, and we heard nothing. We emailed them, and they said they would have something for us soon. Unfortunately, we didn't receive a response until JANUARY. In the meantime, we sent multiple emails and called the restaurant several times, but the staff kept promising to call us back the same day, which never happened. We even visited the restaurant in person, only to find that the catering staff wasn't available. Finally, on JANUARY 14, we received an email with an invoice. They expressed a desire to meet and discuss further details, mentioning they just needed some advanced notice. We decided to give them another chance. However, as of JANUARY 29, we still have not received a reply.
