60 State Park At Inn At Morro Bay

Many wait and then everything arrived immediately. then it was lukewarm. no laughs, and the replacements were terrible. seasonal veg was not seasonal!

The food was just average, which is too bad because there is a lovely view. However, it was so noisy that I won't consider going back. Maybe they should think about separating the bar from the dining area.

My husband and I wanted to try their restaurant month prix fixe menu. We made a reservation. When we arrived we were sat in the bar area and given bar menus. We sat there for quite a long time watching the two servers very busy with customers. No one came over to us to give us water or tell us that they would be with us shortly. We noticed that there was only one table filled in their dining room and it was lit up like a cafeteria. Not very appealing. We ending up walking out and not eating there. Will not go back.

Wife and I were there to celebrate our 45 anniversary, when we arrived we were seated right away and noticed there was only one other couple in the entire restaurant. We soon discovered why, The waitress, took our drink order right away, but it took a long time for them to arrive at our table. After ordering from the limited menu, we did not see our waitress until she was serving our meals. when the meals arrived I was amazed at the portioning on the plate, I had ordered hanger steak with Parmesan potatoes, the meat was approx. six ounces cut into two pieces and charred on the outside beyond recognition, the potatoes were just a large pile of french fries with no Parmesan cheese in sight. The wife had herbed chicken w/scalloped potatoes and grilled vegetables. Same problem a small serving of chicken with the rest of the plate filled with grilled vegetables. Each of our meals cast thirty dollars. Well needless to say we were very disappointed. The only positive was the fantastic ocean view from the restaurant. I do not recommend this restaurant.

We arrived for our 8.30 pm New Year's Eve reservation and it was a long line of people waiting. We finally were seated 45 minutes later. Some people complained that there were waiting over an hour. Their advertised Prime Rib dinner was sold out. The place had no festive decoration and the food was totally overcooked. We have been coming here over the years for NY Eve but this will be our last.
