Írjon visszajelzéstPan fried blue grenadier with Greek salad was divine. Fresh and tasty. Serving was very generous and meal arrived speedily. Very impressed.
On our drive back to Sydney, we decided to stop in Moruya, and after checking out some reviews, I chose Kiah Seafood Cafe. I was not disappointed! From the outside, it looked like a typical fish and chips shop, so I didn't have high expectations. However, as soon as we walked in, we saw the chef in full uniform, and the menu boasted "fresh fish from Eden." We ordered the Pan Fried Blue Grenadier with salad and chips ($17) and the beer-battered fish and chips ($15). Both dishes were beautifully presented, almost like we were dining at a fine restaurant. The portions were generous, and the fish was cooked to perfection—so tender and fresh! I will definitely be coming back!
While the exterior may not be the most inviting, I must say that the quality of the food and the impeccable cleanliness of this place are exceptional. The attention to detail is evident in both the meals and the attentiveness of the staff. The background music was a bit over the top for my taste (I'm not an opera enthusiast), but the food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and generous! Thank you, Kiah. I wish we had discovered you earlier during our stay in Moruya!
This restaurant can rightfully be called the best fish and chip shop on the South Coast. Everything is fresh and prepared from scratch. The service is quick, and the portions are generous. Although the interior could use some updates, the food is outstanding, offering classic fish and chips as well as tasty options like grilled fish and salad. The whiting is particularly excellent when it's available.
