Afous Moroccan And Spanish Tapas

What a sensational experience!! Walked in to find the friendliest and most welcoming staff. We didn't even look at the menu, as a group we asked for them to serve us their recommendations and oh my gosh we got the most amazing food. The fragrances coming from the food was mouth watering and every bite was better than the last, drinks were constantly topped up.. did I mention how amazing the staff are?! There was nothing to fault about this amazing restaurant.. do yourself a favour and book now!!

I cannot express enough how much I love this restaurant. Exotic and aromatic Moroccan dishes that were so delicious, heartwarming services from the owner, and nice view and ambient atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone searching great dining experience.

Warm and efficient service. We were given some water infused with orange blossom oil to rub our hands with to start. It smelled better the longer it stays on your hand. We loved the lamb tagine, it just melts in our mouth. We had it with couscous and what a lovely pairing. Will be back!

We had Saturday lunch there and it was an experience not easily forgotten. We actually walked past the entrance because it is quite understated. But that’s where the understatement ended. Walking up the stairs, we received a warm welcome from Omar and his team. This was not a gimmick I can’t remember the last time I felt so welcome/comfortable in a newly visited restaurant. We had a range of dishes; the scallops, lamb tajine, spiced potato and lentil fritters, couscous, green salad and fries. All were delicious. Next time, I won’t order fries they were so good, but too filling. Leave room for more Moroccan dishes. A very pleasant visit. The online booking was easy and efficient.

The owner here always welcomes you home and he sure means it. From the minute you get to top of the stairs you are treated like family that has been welcomed with open arms. The food is truly delicious and made with absolute passion and love. The service is impeccable, the restaurant is small so the staff can afford to give you all the attention you need. With great food, great service, and attention to detail when it comes to decoration and fit out it is inevitable that the atmosphere is wonderful too. Tonight was my second visit here. This time, we allowed the owner, a superb host, to feed us without really paying attention to the menu. He did not disappoint, the food was amazing with flavours that make your taste buds do a happy dance. Thank you to the Afous team for yet another fun and food filled delightful experience. I am not often a regular, I like to try new things, but I am happily a regular here.
