This Subway franchise is top-notch. The restaurant is clean and spacious, the staff is friendly and efficient, and they don't mess around - you ask for something and you get it.

This Subway franchise is not recommended. You have to ask for the key to use the bathrooms, they do not provide napkins unless you request them, and when you do ask for napkins, they hand you a scrunched-up one.

I visited this restaurant during a walking tour of Castlemaine. The staff was very friendly and the brewer even took the time to chat with us. We all enjoyed trying the beer tasters, as we could choose which ones we wanted to sample. I especially liked the ginger beer and the PLC. It seems like they have live music and reasonably priced pizza. I would have stayed longer, but I had to catch the train back to Melbourne.

The Taproom is a excellent place to catch up with friends & family. The staff are excellent as well as their food & beverages. Not to far for a days drive from Melbourne or even better stay in Castlemaine and make a whole afternoon/evening of it. Look forward to my next visit.

We all had a tasting paddle. What is great you can make up the paddle by nominating which beers you want to try. I loved the Celtic Red, the Frailty pale ale and the Pilsner oh and the Porters not bad either. We had a pizza for lunch which i would recommend too.
