Octopus' Beer Garden - Mount Clemens

A friend recommended this place for our weekly girls lunch and it was the best! Our server was the sweetest. I wish I remembered her name but I know she mentioned she was hard of hearing. She was very good at letting us know all of the best items and told us Everything is homemade down to the ketchup! This place has an amazing atmosphere and staff is so kind. Our server mentioned she was on her second day and the staff was so quick to help her and answer questions for her and

Good food, good atmosphere. Was a quick boat trip from downtown and easy to dock... will visit again. Had given 5 stars, but had the fried perch and although the taste was good, there was a little more bone than expected. The cheese curls, burgers and children meals perfect size and tasteful.

Great drinks and beer selection! The food was really delicious! The atmosphere is cool, fun, yet laid back! Dogs are allowed which is awesome! I love being outside, that's why I like coming here also!

The atmosphere is great, essentially it's an outdoor open wall restaurant. It is like eating out on a nice deck, located on the Clinton River. The restaurant used to be Captains(? , and they had the boat cruises out of there, this is no longer the case. I do however believe you can go to the restaurant by boat and tie off on their dock. There are a variety of places to sit, on the water or out front where they have a fire pit. Most nights there's some sort of live music or karaoke going on. The waitstaff is friendly, drink prices are fair and they have some good bar food. It's worth a visit, but be aware the restaurant gets busy fast.

Wow, what a great experience I had here! I started with the tropical fruit sour beer (I would love to know the brand because it was delicious! and some pretzel bites. Both the cheese and mustard provided with the bites were great. I also got the Foccacia sandwich (tomato, mozzarella, and basil pesto and I would definitely repeat that order
