Jeremiah's - Mount Dora

Saw down at 7:30, had our entire course 15 minutes later. Prime Rib was great, so was the server!

The restaurant itself is very busy with eye candy everywhere. Very nicely set up and very busy. Our server, I thought, did an excellent job. I had prime rib, and of my three friends, they had a monstrous Cobb salad, a Philly cheesesteak, and a filet mignon. I asked for my cut of prime medium rare and that's the way it came. My suggestion to the kitchen is to serve it on a warm/hot plate instead of a cold plate. Of all the cuts of prime I've eaten, this one was.. okay. Both the Philly and the Cob salad were very much enjoyed, however the filet mignon had to be sent back twice because the cook had no idea how to cook a steak. (Not to mention the fact that it was terribly overseasoned) The steak was requested medium well and was presented the first time well done and then some, the second time was well done on the outside with the core raw. Needless to say my friend did not eat last night. The manager did try to correct things however by then my friend was done.

The place is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. There is indoor and outdoor seating and a variety of booths and tables. Parking around the building and in the back of the building. This was our first time and we sat inside off to the right of the front entrance. The room was very cold and had a slight musty odor but not too bad. Better cold than hot. We ate the fried chicken salad and chicken bacon ranch sandwich. The breading on the chicken seemed a salty but otherwise both dishes were good. Waitress was good but could have been a little quicker with the bill towards the end. Would go back to try other meals, though.

Our server, Miss #52 (wish I had gotten her name) was a delight! We came in right before closing and got hot, fresh meals. Twofer Tuesday beer special was an added bonus. Nice atmosphere and decor. Just a great dining experience, plain and simple.

The decor and atmosphere was cool. Planes everywhere. Average prices for meals. I ordered the pot roast and hubby ordered a philly cheese. Both entrees were great.
