The Storehouse Mount Evelyn

I was excited to support a local business, but unfortunately, the coffees were just average and the hot chocolate was not up to par. The slow service, which had other customers also checking their watches, was a letdown. Because of this, I will be passing on this cafe in the future.

We went for breakfast after getting up early, hoping to support a local business. We waited a long time for our basic fruit toast breakfast and eggs on toast, and noticed that others were waiting a while too. When the food finally arrived, we realized that our tea was missing. It seems that the priority is on the takeaway coffee, leaving those dining in to wait longer for their orders. We won't be returning to this restaurant.

I stopped by for breakfast on a Saturday morning and tried the French Toast topped with fruit. It looked decadent, but was surprisingly light and delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed, but it did get busy about an hour after opening. The coffee was also very good!

It looks like the locals love it!! The food was good, plenty of flavour and good size servings. The hot chocolate didn't have much flavour though. Maybe should have had a coffee.

We stopped at Mount Evelyn for breakfast and found this gem when we looking for a cafe. They opened at 8 am on Saturday morning when everything else closed. Food was nice and great for kids. Definitely will come back if we heading to Waburton again.
