Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza

I have to admit, I’m quite particular about my pizza. My friends are well aware that my family's tradition involved homemade pizza every Friday, so I have a soft spot for pizzas made from scratch. The crust at this place is just right, and the sauce is fantastic. Although I'm not from the area, I'm happy to give them five stars in every category. I highly recommend trying it!

Once again, the Margherita pizza had unpleasant basil. The vibrant green basil you see in the photo is from my own garden. The version on the pizza was inedible, and that's an important aspect of the Margherita experience. It really isn't that difficult to get it right if you care. So, if you love basil like we do, I would definitely recommend against ordering Margherita pizza for takeout!

I couldn't catch our waitress's name since she wasn't wearing a name tag, but she was incredibly friendly. The service was a bit slow with the appetizers, arriving just before the main courses, but the food was still delightful. I dined here with a group of eight, and everyone had a fantastic time. The Margherita pizza was a standout, along with the Rigatoni with meatballs. This place really knows how to do it right!

*Updated to reflect the latest experience* I gave Anthony's a second go and I very much enjoyed the food this time. I opted for the original oven wings and they turned out great. I also had their meatball and ricotta pizza, this was a nice surprise. The dough is soft but had some chew to it almost like a flatbread. The whipped ricotta was really good and had basil in it for a pop of flavor. The little meatballs were really good and rounded off the pizza very well. I'll definitely be coming back for more. Food- I ordered the carnivore pizza and the sweet/spicy wings (dry rub). The wings were really good. The right amount of seasoning and heat. I would like a little more heat, but I like spicy. The pizza was cooked just right, cooked in the middle, and fire-roasted. Atmosphere- it was relaxed and the photos on the walls made it feel chill. Staff- nice and always willing g to help with anything you need. I would go back just eat the pizza again
