L'antica Trattoria - Mount Lawley

Having seen this place driving past we decided to make a booking for Saturday night. So glad we did. Entree’s ordered we’re Bruschetta, Salcicia, and squid. All beautiful and tasty. The olives with the sausage were to die for. Mains ordered were the steak, scallopini Marsala, spaghetti marinara and gnocchi (homemade). All stand out dishes. The marinara comes encased in a bread out of the pizza oven, that you peel off and use at the end to soak up the beautiful sauce. Steak was nice and thick. But marinara was the standout dish of the night. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. Even the owner interacts with the customers which is great. BYO only, but there is a good bottle shop right next door, so it’s not an issue. Extensive menu, so we will be coming back again very soon.

Really good food. New Italian place on corner of Walcott and Beaufort St and deserves recognition. Great hospitality and great Italian food (almost fine dining like but at a good price). We had a table of 9 and everyone was pleased with the amounts of food and the taste. We ordered 2 serves of the antipasti platter for 2 and it was a good starter with variety and taste. We then had a variety of mains salads are a good size and as is the pasta. Saccottoni al Prosciutto proved a favourite as did the Raviolini Antica Trattoria. Desserts were tasty and staff were friendly and accommodating. Good food and cosy vibe, spread the word they deserve it <br/

Great service and food, with friendly staff. I consider the food to be really great value and quality for money, super tasty across all the dishes that I tried and with generous serve sizes. I had the Surf and Turf the steak was cooked to perfection, so good! Highly recommend!

Had a get together here and was very pleasantly surprised. Easy (after hours) parking in the alleyway at the side of the restaurant and a nice casual atmosphere inside. Menu had options for everyone. I was particularly impressed by the attention we got from the waitress (may have been a manager), when our shared entrée hadn't arrived she sorted it out quick fast. Food was really good. My risotto marinara was excellent with the rice cooked to perfection and a generous serve of seafood in it. My wife's salmon with salad was nice but the salad had an odd flavour that she was unfamiliar with and didn't really like. Other guests really enjoyed their food. Licensed and BYO wine. I look forward to going back again.

Absolutely Divine! Drinks on the table within 10 mins of arriving, followed by entrée and our mains 15 mins after that. Great service, amazing food at a good price. What more could you ask for 5 stars I love this place been here many times and had to share great experience.
