Ichiban Japanese - Mount Pleasant

I had an amazing meal here with a friend. The food was not only delicious, but also beautifully presented. I was encouraged to take a picture of the Greek salad, which was both stunning and tasty. The staff were warm and friendly, providing excellent service. This was my first visit, but it certainly won’t be my last. I highly recommend dining at Philosophy for dinner.

The atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was delicious! I shared some tapas on the terrace with friends, and we loved everything we tasted. I especially recommend the meatballs and zucchini cakes!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a fantastic new Greek restaurant in Mt. Pleasant. My family has Greek roots, but we don't eat Greek food very often. However, our experience at Philosophy was amazing! We tried the octopus, saganaki, spanakopita, Greek salad, and a variety of entrees, and everything was absolutely delicious. The restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere, and our waiter was outstanding. For a newcomer in the Charleston dining scene, Philosophy is a place my family and I will definitely return to!

We love this place and the owners Song and Larry. We have eaten here since 1996 and are so sad that the rents in Mt. Pleasant are so high that they feel compelled to close They are missing!

I'm sitting here enjoying the double shrimp entree. There aren't a lot of people in here, but the carry out orders seem to be coming in steadily. I am really enjoying my meal, and the service is good, even if the waitress is a little quiet and soft spoken. (I have a hearing issue.. I should have taken a picture before I started eating. The shrimp portion was generous, and I enjoy the flavor very much.
