Ihop - Mount Pleasant

What a pleasant surprise! I used to love IHOP, but recently had a bad experience with their service at various locations. So, we decided to give this restaurant a try and were pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent and the food was delicious.

We waited for 5 minutes, not because the restaurant was busy, but because at least 3 employees were outside vaping or smoking and were unaware that we were even inside. When we were seated, we passed mostly dirty tables. The food was lukewarm and the service was average. It appeared that our waitress was the only one who was attentive and dedicated to her job. It seems like the restaurant may need new management.

Ugh. I don't even know where to start. I've tried to give this iHop location a chance several times, but I just can't do it anymore. The customer service is terrible and our food is almost always served cold. Every time we order here, they manage to mess something up - either leaving something out or giving us the wrong item. Dealing with this place is so frustrating. It feels like they don't care at all about whether or not the customer is satisfied. Some friends recommended that I try the new iHop in Pittsburgh, and I think I'll give it a shot if I ever have a craving for iHop again. Step up your game, Mount Pleasant iHop!

Great customer service and location. Just off of I-30 with easy access. Only open for to go orders. Order was placed and filled within 10 minutes. Meals were tasty and we had an enjoyable time after getting home.
