Five Star Ii - Mount Pocono

I don't know why this place had such high ratings. This is a second time I've tried it and will not be going back. Hot n Sour soup was awful and too sweet. Fried rice has no layers of flavor or character or taste. Beef was watery and stringy. Egg rolls tasted old and stale. Combo dish portions were 80% rice. The only saving grace was the chow mein was one of the better offerings in the area.

The restaurant may not be the cleanest establishment I've been in. But the staff were polite helpful and the food was spot on. Perfectly cooked.

Pretty good food. Lunch special a little pricey for lunch. About as close to NY you can get.

The dining experience was average, but there was a mix-up with my order. I requested pork, but received chicken instead. Make sure to double-check your order before leaving.
