Excellent food and never disappoints even though it?s more expensive than other local restaurants. Their oxtail jerk chicken is amazing. Their sweet potatoes is like dessert.

My son loves to eat here. He took me here and I have to say the food looked good. This review is on his behalf considering he doesn't do reviews but I did check his platter out and I have to say they gave him alot of food. When I come to the area again I will make sure I don't eat and purchase a platter of food and I will come back and give my personal review

The staff very professional and courtesy. The food was really seasoned and seasoned well. Price to portion ratio excellent. The fried fish, fried shrimp, collard greens, string beans, butter beans, corn, and cornbread was very pleased. The only downside is parking. Please don't sleep on Flavas Kitchen Catering the best restaurant in Mount Vernon and better yet the best soul food restaurant in the region.

Food and portions are great. Lots of choices. Friendly staff. Will go again even with the price increase. Enough food for seconds.
