Cafe Yulong - Mountain View

We tried the highly talked-about fish and rag dumplings. The fish had an interesting taste reminiscent of egg, which I actually found appealing. However, the dumplings were quite bland and served lukewarm. The garlic green beans with chicken were also rather generic. While the green beans were decent, the chicken was not flavorful at all. As for the beef noodle soup, it was a mixed bag. The beef was tender but not of great quality, and the noodles were standard and quite long, making them challenging to eat. The broth was slightly oily and had a minor kick of spice (which stung when some got in my eye), but overall it didn’t leave a strong impression. On the positive side, the portion sizes and prices were reasonable, and I could suggest better options from the menu. However, based on my previous Yelp research, I’m not entirely convinced that this place will keep me coming back.
